Until The Finish Line Do Us Part

Me and my reason for running
Today my wife celebrates 11 years as a breast cancer survivor.  She was originally diagnosed of Stage 2 breast cancer in 2000.  It went up to Stage 4 in 2006 when the cancer came back and metastasized to her lungs, liver, bones, and brain.  The cancer continues to progress, but she is determined to fight.

I ran 11 miles today in her honor.  It is nothing compared to what she has gone through the past 11 years.  But it is my way of saying I will be by her side until until the finish line do us part.

"Yesterday is history.  Tomorrow is a mystery.  Today is a gift.  That is why it is called the present."  Thank you, God, for the gift of everyday with her.
